The Tiger - The Future Hope School Newsletter

The Tiger was first published in December 2009 and is designed as a cross-curricular project in which computer and English language skills can be nurtured simultaneously. The group of pupils that created it are from the Rowland Road Upstairs and Ballygunge homes and attend workshops on Monday and Thursday afternoons. The Tiger is an extension of a sports day computer project begun by IT specialist Antonia Keaney when she and a friend from the UK visited Future Hope in November 2009.

The newsletter is designed and made by pupils, for pupils and covers the activities, visits and trips they think should be news for all the children in the school. Copies are provided for Class Teachers and it is displayed on class notice boards for pupils to read. Copies of the newsletter are given to all visitors and any one with an interest in the school is welcome to read it. Feedback will be appreciated by 'Team Tiger'!
